It's Finished: New Look 6750

It's finished and I love it! (Click here for the first part or here for the second part).
The final stage of putting this dress together went like a dream (I must have caught up on that sleep I needed).

So here are the details (the part where I eerily interview myself):

Any obstacles sewing the skirt together?
None, this was the easiest part of making this dress, the instructions were clear and really there were no fancy steps in this part.

How about the zip?
Well I'd better be honest here, I was very nervous about sewing the zip in as I haven't done many.  Zips are not hard, I don't know why they make me so nervous!  I put off doing this part for days, but when I finally did it, I had no issues.

How long did it take?
A couple of hours max.  I find it very hard to time my sewing as I take snippets where I can, in between toddler activities.

Can we see it on?
Of course!!

After all that worry about how the fabrics would look together, I think they look great.

Will this dress get worn?
I am really hopeful about this, I don't often go out, being a country gal with 4 kids and all, but one day (I live in hope) my hubby will organise a date night and I'm gonna wear this!  Okay, maybe I'll have to organise the date night...I'll get onto that. (But not yet, it's too cold to go out at night and definitely too cold to wear this dress).
