It has been a while since I have ventured into the op shops and yesterday I thought it was about time I popped in to see what was new.
Wow, did I pick the right day! I found so much fabric goodness that I just had to share! Are you ready to come op shopping with me?
I can't remember what I found where (I visited four different shops in the same area) but these shops support wonderful charities like
The Salvation Army,
St. Vincent De Paul and
Lifeline.
Okay, here we go;

| This is a fabric sample size of cotton poplin. I always seem to find clown fabric, do you find clowns creepy? I think that is why people give it away! |

| Jungle Fabric. Maybe a backpack? |

| Lovely floral lavender knit. |

| This Fairyland cotton poplin could not wait to made into a pinafore! This one is up in my shop in a size 4-5. |
But wait, there's more!!

| I found 2 metres of this orange corduroy. I love cord, I think it is my favourite fabric, so this was a special find for me. |

| This is a brushed cotton, I can't look at it without seeing pyjamas! |

| I have about 2 metres of this shiny knit fabric. It looks very sophisticated....maybe I could turn it into a long sleeved Winter top for myself? Or a dress? |

| I can never go past green (my favourite colour) or checks for that matter. |

| Denim (in need of a good iron). I found around 3 metres of it! I was very excited at this find! |

| And how about a couple of metres of Chambray? Yes, please. |
Aside from the fabric I also found some great sewing books and magazines to add to my collection (no
Topkids this time *sad face*)
And this Singer box of goodies...don't ask me what they do, or even if they will fit my machine....this was just a spur of the moment purchase, I'm yet to find out if it will be useful! Tsk tsk!
And did you happen to notice that label in the corner of the pinafore dress? No, need a close up?
